Yade Bongsomenggolo is a Surinamese taekwondo athlete and multiple national champion. She has practiced the sport since the age of five, currently holds the 3rd Dan, and is the first female taekwondo athlete to be selected for an Olympic Scholarship. As a member of the national team, she has represented Suriname on various international stages. Her most notable international experiences include the Olympic qualifying tournaments (2024), the World Championships (2025), and her qualification for the Central American and Caribbean Games (2026).
